We are seeking experienced people for the following positions:

SENIOR ENGINEER DRILL & BLAST – 925601
(MELAK)
Some of your duties will include:
• To lead drill and blast section team
• To provide the leadership and coaching within drilling and blasting section
• To make sure all drilling and blasting activities are following the plan, safe, in cost manner, good quality, documented and reported on time
• To make sure blasting quality are good to allow easy digging and digger can work productively
• To make sure record and report are correct, drill consumables stock are safe for continuity drilling
• To make sure broken stock are safe to allow digging sequence following mine planning
• To ensure explosive and accessories used in the field as per blasting plan
• To ensure record of explosive and accessories usage are correct and reconciled in weekly basis
• Actively contribute to a positive teamwork and environment at all times
• Prepared drill and blast design to make good fragmentation and benching/sloping
• Prepared required of explosives, accessories and shoot plan
• Drill and blast design are safe, effective and issued ahead of time
• Coordination with short term engineer, mining supervisor for daily mining activities to achieve target of drill and blast sequences
• Designs are discussed with senior pit engineer, engineering superintendent, operations personnel and consensus is reached on the design approach
• Distribute and inform about blasting plan to all responsibilities
• Calculate blasting inventory every single blast and weekly basis
• Prepare drill performance for weekly basis
• Prepare statistics and report to client based on daily and monthly basis
• Prepare 6 month forecast of explosive and accessories every month
• Prepare Drill requirement and consumable for monthly basis

What skills and experience do you need?
• Tertiary degree in Mining, Civil or Geologist with 8 years’ experience in similar role in Open Pit Mining;
• Hold certificate Blaster Class II; understanding of mining sequences, mining and construction technology, mining Equipment and applications, engineering Principles; familiar with designing drill and blast; leading the team and explosives handling; proficient in applications applications of terramodel drill blast and shot plus software;
• Candidate should fluent in English both oral and written, and proficient in computer literacy; strong leadership; self motivated; ability to influence; team player; innovative and problem solving; supportive; communicative; and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.

SUPERINTENDENT MINING – 925862
(MELAK)
Some of your duties will include:
• Co-ordinate all mining senior supervisors and mining supervisors in the workplace of the removal of overburden/inter burden and coal in a safe, effective manner on time and within budget in a designated area;
• Plan, direct, monitor and reconcile the technical aspect of the mining operations including daily, short to tong term (annual) plans, operational performance, blast design and sequencing, rehabilitation, drainage and road design, to assist in achieving agreed coal production targets;
• Check daily production figures and use them to address the problem areas;
• Minimize coal losses;
• Analyze and review the system, procedures and equipment utilized within the mine and recommend improvements to enhance coal production;
• Develop standards and procedures of work that can be applied across operations;
• Maintain and facilitate clear communication with all stakeholders, clients, customers, suppliers with respect to operational capability, performance, and resource requirements.

What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum graduated from Senior High School; minimum of 8 years’ experience in large open cut mining operation of which at Least one or two year in production/service supervision/ management role;
• Mining heavy industry experience is essential; Could operate mining equipment;
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills.

SENIOR SUPERVISOR MINING – 926236

Some of your duties will include:
• Coordinating all supervisors in the workplace of the removal of overburden/inter-burden in a safe, effective manner on time and within budget in a designated area;
• To actively coordinate with trainer to achieve productivity and production;
• To lead, organise and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results. Set an example for all in the workplace to follow in safety, leadership, attendance and personal behaviour.
• Maintain and facilitate clear communication with all stakeholders, clients, customers, suppliers with respect to operational capability, performance, and resource requirements.

What skills and experience do you need?
• Applicants should have a minimum graduated from Senior High School or Degree in Mining/Civil Engineering is preferred; requires a minimum 5 years’ professional experience in similar role as Senior Supervisor Mining in large open cut mining operation;
• Mining heavy industry experience is essential; could operate mining equipment;
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; be able to operate computer; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; Posses POP (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) certification at Mine and Energy Department; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).

GEOLOGIST – 926266
(Senakin)
Some of your duties will include:
• To provide geology & geotechnical investigation, coal quantity and quality, reserving and scheduling to maximise coal recovery in mining, wash plant, and barging operation towards the long term & profitability;
• Mapping faults and dips of coal and input to the mine planning designs;
• Prepare channel sampling and grab sampling;
• Prepared coal seam profile from coal sample to ensure actual quality and give the data to coal mining and hauling supervisor;
• Improve coal recovery maximize, reduce coal losses, and minimize coal dilution; Prepare and monitoring coal line, batter blocks, high wall, and geotechnical investigation; Monitoring, controlled actual compared to the model of the roof of coal & Fault; Monitoring and controlled tonnage actual vs. model;
• Provide daily advice to production personnel on the required direction of mining to achieve coal quality and quantity targets.
• Coordination with survey and coal mining supervisor about coal seam and quality, coal line, parting and mined out area
• Reporting Coal Reconciliation Actual & Model monthly.

What skills and experience do you need?
• Applicants should have a minimum Bachelor Degree in Mining or Geological Engineering with minimum of 3 years professional experience in large open cut mining and mine engineering as Pit Geologist;
• understanding of Geological Principles, Mining Equipment and Applications; understanding and demonstrate of Engineering Software and Computer Data Management; possess government certification of POP (Pratama Competency Test);
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and proficient in computer literacy; strong leadership; self-motivated; team player; supportive; analytical thinking and think strategically; communicative; and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.

SUPERINTENDENT PLANT – 926257
(Senakin)
Some of your duties will include:
• Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of the equipment repairs;
• Ensure that all area supervisors’ accurately complete daily breakdown reports, supervisors shift report, PCR’s for submission the planning and administration before 8 am every day. Ensure accurate breakdown hours information is provided.
• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required. Ensure correct procedures used when troubleshooting breakdowns and failures.
• Ensure all mechanical inspection are carried out in detail and filed correctly; Ensure all necessary actions are taken to rectify any faults identified by the inspections, in accordance with the correct procedures.
• Responsibility to avoid re-work jobs.
• Quality assurance for all workshop and field tasks, achieved by continual monitoring of work in progress and the procedures that are being used;
• Demonstrate positive leadership by being responsible, accountable and setting an example; Encourage sub-ordinate to develop procedures and processes that enhances job performance and productivity.
• Ensure all mechanical inspection are carried out in detail and filed correctly; Responsibility to avoid re-work jobs

What skills and experience do you need?
• Applicants should have Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade Specialist/Ex Apprentice is preferred; requires a minimum 6-10 years’ professional experience in similar role with relevant qualification in Mechanical Repair and Mechanic Supervision in mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and breakdown repair;
• Mechanical repair experience in Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Coal hauling and lifting equipment; handling diagnostic skill in all aspects of electrical repairs;
• Have previously worked to budgets.
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; be able to operate computer; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; Posses POM (Pengawas Operasional Madya) certification at Mine and Energy Department.
